Q.Are you Gas Safe registered?
Yes — Warmtouch is Gas Safe registered under No. 632124, which by law is required for any work on your boiler, gas appliances or flues. We're also OFTEC registered for oil boilers and F-Gas certified for air conditioning, and we're accredited installers for both Worcester Bosch and Vaillant.
Q.Do you charge a call-out fee?
There's no call-out fee for emergency plumbing — a burst pipe or serious leak gets seen on our priority line without a charge just to attend. For planned work like boilers and bathrooms, Adam comes out, talks through the options and gives you a clear quote before anything begins.
Q.What guarantee do I get on a new boiler?
As a Worcester Bosch accredited installer, we can register a new Worcester Bosch boiler for a manufacturer's guarantee of up to 12 years — cover that only accredited installers are able to offer. We're also a Vaillant accredited installer, so you have a trained choice between two leading brands.
Q.Can I spread the cost of a new boiler?
Yes. Boiler finance is available through Novuna Personal Finance — from 0% APR over two years, or up to a 10-year plan at 10.9% APR representative. Finance is arranged by our FCA-authorised credit broker TradeHelp Ltd (FRN 1032861), subject to status and affordability.
Q.Do you install oil and LPG boilers, not just gas?
Yes. Alongside gas, we're OFTEC registered to install, replace, repair and service oil-fired boilers, and we install LPG combi and system boilers — including fuel storage options such as cylinders and above-ground or underground tanks. That matters around here, where many homes are off the mains-gas grid.
Q.Do you take on full bathrooms and underfloor heating?
Both — they're a big part of what we do. We design and project-manage full bathroom and en-suite renovations end to end, and install underfloor heating with full floor pipe runs, manifold design and pressure testing. Toby project-manages larger jobs so it all runs through one point of contact.
Q.Do you service air conditioning?
Yes. Our engineers are F-Gas certified, so we install, service and repair air conditioning systems compliantly — the same certification that's legally required to handle the refrigerants inside them.
Q.Which areas do you cover?
Saffron Walden and its surrounding villages are home turf. We also cover Newport, Great Dunmow, Bishop's Stortford, Buntingford, Ashwell and Ware, and reach into Cambridgeshire and Suffolk — Sawston, Linton, Duxford, Fulbourn, Cherry Hinton, Trumpington, Waterbeach, Cottenham, Balsham, Burwell and Newmarket — plus wider Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk.
